This international mime clown died 10 years ago (1st January 2000) in Las Vegas aged 83. Born Giorgio Carlotti to American-Italian parents (who were farmers) in Niles, Michigan, USA, he left aged 10 to join a travelling circus. He learned to be a juggler, acrobat and barebag rider, becoming one of the best in America. As he grow older he branched out in to vaudeville to follow his great love of comedy. George Carl was a great clown.
